Authentically Sourced
We Are Dates Obsessed
We source exceptional varieties from their native growing regions, choosing only those that meet our standards for flavour, texture, freshness, and authenticity. These are dates as they were meant to be enjoyed.
Types of Dates
There are over 2,500 varieties of date palms grown around the world, thriving in climates ranging from tropical regions to arid deserts. Each variety offers its own unique characteristics, including differences in sweetness, texture, moisture, size, and flavour profile. At Palm Bites, we've carefully sourced the world's finest dates to bring you an exceptional selection. Below is a guide to the premium varieties we proudly offer.
Sukkari
Saudi Arabia
Sukkari dates are renowned for their exceptional sweetness. They are incredibly sugary with a melt-in-your mouth quality. Eating Sukkari dates is like savoring pure, natural sugar with a touch of butterscotch. Sukkari dates need to be refrigerated.
Medjool
Palestinian
Medjool dates are known for their rich and sweet flavour. They have a caramel like taste with a hint of toffee and a creamy texture. They are often described as the “king of dates”. Medjool are the most well known dates around the world.
Deglet Noor
Tunisia
Smallest of the group, Deglet Noor dates have a semi-dry texture and a sweet, mildly nutty taste. They are less sugary compared to Medjool dates but offer a pleasing balance of sweetness and nuttiness, often likened to brown sugar.
Mazafati
Iranian
Mazafati dates are prized for their unique flavour profile. They offer a delightful combination of sweetness and nuttiness. These dates are often compared to a blend of honey and roasted nuts, creating a distinctive taste experience.
Ajwa
Saudi Arabia
Ajwa dates are known for their unique and complex taste. They are sweet but with a slightly tart undertone, offering a contrast of flavours. Ajwa dates are often described as having a rich, fruity taste with notes of berry and a soft, velvety texture.
Khudari
Saudi Arabia
Khudri dates have a firmer texture and a mildly sweet flavour. They are less sugary than some other varieties but still provide a pleasant, subtle sweetness with hints of caramel and a slight chewiness. They look very similar to Medjool, but smaller.
I regularly buy the Mejdool dates from Palm Bites and they’re consistently excellent. The dates are fresh, soft, and naturally sweet, with a premium quality that stands out. Perfect for a quick snack or gifting.
Wasim A.Super delicious, probably the best chocolate I have ever had in my life. I was born and raised in Toronto and I have always loved chocolate. So naturally I have the best chocolate from all over the world. I will say that Belgian and Swiss chocolate rank as the world’s finest but I feel that these Palm bites chocolates from Dubai are amongst the top chocolates in the world.
Ruby M.The tastiest delicacies filled with nut butter and other flavours and decorated with luxurious toppings. A delightful gift for anyone who’s tired of mass-produced gifts and treats - or just wants something fresh, different and top quality.

These dates are unbelievable! I haven’t had them before. Very moist and very very sweet! Unlike most of the other dates these need to be refrigerated after opening. Very different experience from all the other dates I have had from Palm Bites. Just lovely.
Great!!!
These are the best dates. They are what dates should taste like.
Soft, fresh and caramely. Mmmm!

So delicious
Absolutely love these but they’re never in stock anymore. 😝
Delicious!
Very soft and subtle flavor make it easy to consume The package is not the easiest to open and may be difficult yo open if it breaks
I love these dates! The only problem is that you are so often ‘sold out’ when I want to order them.
أحسن الله اليكم رجعتوني للسعودية. جودة السكري كأني بالرياض
They are juicy, soft and delicious
These dates are the best--first discovered them in Dubai. Have not stopped ordering them since!

Super delicious dates, best quality and fresh. They are like caramel! I have been waiting for a whole year for these to come back and I am happy to have gotten my hands on them.
The best dates I have ever tasted. I will be coming for more !
Amazing product as usual. Thank you.
A favorite for some of us in the family after our trip to Medina. I was looking for these in particular when a friend told me Palm Bites had them. The first packet had larger size ones (preferred). That being said, although the other packet had smaller size ones they were still just as fresh.
These are amazing, so gooey and caramel-like!
The best dates and so so soft.
Delicious! Succulent!
Delicious dates, would order again.
These dates are so sweet and soft. Wonderful taste and texture. I love them!
Seriously like butter melting in your mouth
The packaging preserves the dates very well. The sweet crystals from the date's syrup gave it a delightful crunchy texture.
great and tasty dates
very good
